About Us
Some people say that those who manage to turn a passion into a job will not work a single day.
This thought has been guiding us for years. We believe that we have to do what we feel,
what we love, because only in this way we keep ourselves happy and full of creative energy ,
and thanks to this a service that we provide can be outstanding.
Tastes of our nomad life
Kasia and Mike – we have been a couple since 2014 and since this time we share a nomad life. Last 8 years we have lived and traveled in many countries around the world, from where we get our culinary inspirations. Our beloved tastes come from Ethiopia, Syria, Japan and Italy.
We love traveling, we love food and cooking.
The process of creating flavors, mixing smells and the artistic presentation is an exciting challenge for us. When the pleasure for the eyes, nose and palate comes together and we know that we reach your hearts through your stomachs, it is a feeling that drives us to continue efforts and work.
Professional background
Back home in Warsaw I started my culinary experience with sushi lunch box production, then with my partners we have built a Thai restaurants chain. My last business in Poland was a gourmet burger and steak restaurant.
Together with Kasia we had a restaurant in Zanzibar, we were cooking for our guests in Iceland when running a hotel in Selfoss and a culinary project in Porto/Portugal when we were inviting expats for dinners on the rooftop, providing the finest cuisine from all over the world and unlimited Portuguese wine .
Since 2021 we have been based in Morzine, where we used to work for Reach for the Alps.
From Summer of 2022 we started a Voila private chef service and we are more than happy to prepare the food and take the best care of you, your family and friends.
Green philosophy
We believe every small choice makes a big difference for Mother Earth. All of us are responsible and have an impact for the future of nature and the next generations. Let’s make an effort and smart decision to stop climate disaster.
We try to:
- minimize buying products in plastic packages and implement reusable packaging as much as we can
- recacycele carefully
- put through the zero waste idea in our daily life. We do thoughtful shopping. In case of leftovers we distribute them instead of throwing them out
- keep good relations with local suppliers
- choose meat and eggs from reliable sources. We don’t want to be involved in animal exploitation.
If you have any suggestions, how we can be even more eco-friendly, please let us know.
